I do want to apologize if I've offended anyone by my insistence on knowing the truth about my ethnic heritage. My family freely admitted that Rebecca Cantrell was half Indian and I do think that would make her mother an Indian since Dennis Cantrell was white. It is possible that that is all it was. If it was more than just that, it probably wasn't that much more or I wouldn't look as white as I do. When I told my mother that a girl from school who had mixed blood implied that we were mixed too, she laughed and said, "Well I may be but YOU are not." Lately I've begun to wonder if maybe she was right. Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm not trying to throw it in anyone's face. I just want to set my mind at rest so I can get on to the next great hurdle, my father's family...
