Eric, I cannot help with George Taylor, however you mention John W Hood as second husband of Mary Delina Bates/Taylor. I am descended from John W Hood and his first wife Sarah McCormick. I am searching for the parents of John W Hood, and was hoping you could help. You listed the children of John W Hood and Mary Delina Bates/Taylor. I have the list of children, but don't have alot of info on them. You also mentioned two children still living. Are you in contact with them? If so maybe they would know the parents of John W Hood. Can you help me in this area?
