i talked to my cousin today after work. she said that the Dona that Uncle Jim was married to , was a Cummings. she didn't really remeber when they married, thought it might have been early 1950's but wasn't sure.
she also wasn't sure if they were legally married or not because she said that there was some doubt about Uncle Jim having divorced his first wife Belle Tyre..........who had left and gone to California.

my cousin said that she remebered Dona having at least two daughters but couldn't remeber their names and one son , CLIFFORD...........she said that the children went by the Cummings name but that Dona either had been married or had lived with a Garrison man but didn't know if they were his children or not.

as soon as i get a Friday that i don't work and can turn loose, i'll go back to Double Springs at the court house and see what i can find out.
