I knew the Berry family of Winston County, AL Desmer was the a school teacher at Delmar School. Crant was the Sheriff of Winston County. I belive it was Harvey Moody who stabb and killed him. I went to school with Desmer's son Michael. Would you by any chance be him? I just heard of Desmer being buried sure hated to hear that he was a good man and one of my favorite teachers.
