Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Jackie: Something to keep in mind - you can also order a copy of a deed that was signed by the President at the time the deed was issued with the Land Office seal on it. The last time I ordered one it was $6/sheet, but each deed is 1 sheet. Send your request to The National Archives Land Office, Pickett Street, Alexandria, VA. Good luck. Bonnie Sorry I don't know the zip.
