Sessions of Wilcox and Monroe Counties

I am looking of any information on any Sessions that lived in either of these two counties (Wilcox or Monroe) in the 1800's. I have traced back to Jefferson Beauregard Sessions who was born in 1860. I am told by his grandson Jeff Sessions, the Alabama Senator, that Jefferson's father was Johnathan, and that Johnathan's father was J.J. Johnathan was a private in the Confederate army and was killed in action.
