I am looking for Information on a Daniel and Martha Willis Davis, married 1845 in Montgomery County, Alabama. I don't Have Daniel's Parent's names. Daniel and Martha lived in Montgomery,Conecuh,Wilcox, and Butler counties and had seven or eight sons: William, b.1846; James, b.1847; John, b. 1849; Jefferson, b.1861-1863; George, b.1853; Augustus, b.1859, and Marien Davis, 1864. Daniel died in 1877 in Wilcox County. He had served in the Civil war, Alabama Confederate Cavalry. He was also a farmer. Martha was the daughter of James Willis and wife Rhoda from Warren County, Georgia and Montgomery County, Al.
I thought that Daniel's parents were Jacob and Sarah Davis, who appeared in the 1850 Conecuh County, Alabama, but they had a son named Daniel, that was not the same person. Any more info will help. Will share what i have, thanks.
