A second printing of the book "James Stuart and Mary Matthews, of Wilcox County, Alabama" is now available.

James Stuart is traced from his immigrant ancestor who sailed from Belfast to Boston. Descendants later lived in New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina. James married in 1793 in Mecklenburg County NC and moved to Alabama before 1819 statehood.

Mary Doak Matthews is traced also from her immigrant ancestors, both John Doak Sr. and James Matthews Sr., who followed much the same route.

Allied families include Albritton, Carnes, Ethridge, Hall, Hanna, Houston, Howey, Jones, Palmore, and Smith.

For descriptive brochure and details, contact me via email.
