Hi Bobbi,
You were kind enough to send me info on the SHOMO surname;
I am interested in finding info on MARY ELIZABETH WHEADON,
which is one of 26 spellings for my WEEDEN, WHILDEN, WEELDON/BROWN AA/Native line of SC, NC and VA.
The SCARBORO surname somehow also connects to my elusive line which NO ONE has acknowledged kinship to in 13yrs of
research?????
Was this JOHN SCARBORO a person of color?
Believe that some of my ancestors may have chosen to pass for white, and that is the reason I am having difficulty.
WARM regards,
carol wheeldin warren.
