Does anyone know the burial location of George Williamson who left Screven County, GA, in 1810, for the Mississippi Territory? He obtained a passport to travel across the Creek Nation for himself, his wife, two children, and 44 Negroes. He died in Wilcox County, AL, but the county was too new to handle probates of wills. Therefore, his will was filed in Sumter County, Book One, Page One. His daughter, Lucy Williamson, was my ggg-grandmother. She married William Henry Howell. They were the parents of Eliza Ann Howell who married Calvin Cook Sellers.
