Surely there are some Maness' or Jacksons in Wilcox County who have a family Bible or some family records regarding the daughters of Meshach or Meshack Maness!!! The Maness family was a well known one in Moore County, North Carolina. Meshack was one of a set of triplets - Yes - ma,ed Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego. Their father fought in the American Revolution and proof of this ancestry qualifies one for the Daughters of the American Revolution or the Sons of the American Revolution. My only problem is proving that Susan was the daughter of Meshack. Help anyone????Ann Cheney
