I am collecting information on Killingsworths in general. In Washington Co., I am interested in Francis and William Killingsworth who lived there abt 1800. Francis died abt 1803, his passport mentioned a wife and three children coming from NC. I know his wife's name was Esther (Easter?) and one daughter was Ann m1: Palmer, m2: Reubin Aldridge. Does anyone know his other children?
Francis was a neighbor to the Linders who were married into Killingsworths from SC. Francis is often mentioned with William K. - I don't know anything about him!
My particular line is from a William Killingsworth, b. (somewhere in) Alabama in 1815. His father is supposedly Mathew Killingsworth, b. abt 1797 in either NC or SC, and died 1868 in Kemper Co. MS. He was married to Jane Cannon, but I'm certain she was not William's mother. Mathew lived in Marengo Co. AL from around 1820-1838.
