Bill's parents were Davis Austin Eads b. abt 1818 and Orinda Amanda Townsend (Townson)born about 1816. They were married March 20, 1837 Tuscaloosa Co AL and according to 1860 census there (Chesnut P.O.) they were born in GA. Bill was 20 on that census and his siblings were Martha 18, Mary 16, James 12, Margaret 10, Elisha 8, and Sarah 6. By the 1866 Census in Tusc Co AL Bill was married. On 1870 census he and wife Mollie Mariah Hocutt Eeds were living in Township 9, Itawamba, MS with 3 kids Rubbanna 4, Marcus 3, and Ardena 3 months. They are back in Tusc Co (New Lexinton) for 1880 census. Bill died in 1885 Rock City, Marion Co, AL and is buried at Liberty Cem. Marion Co, AL and it appears Mollie is buried there as well. One family tree gives Davis Austin Eads father as John Eads born 1770 Orangeburg SC but I can't confirm if that is correct. Hope this helps.
