Elisa in 1867,when my Joel Herndon,Caleb Herndon,and Joels Son, James M Herndon came into Winston County,Alabama They Had too Swear Allegience to Winston Co,Alabama. The Voters List,I think it was ,was run By Andrew Jackson Ingle and One other Man ,and a Rily Tyre.(Was That one of Your Tyrees?.) I would assume That his Name was Reilly,for some of Those Folks didn't Have much learning and The Census Takers didn't Either. Richard McLaud.
