i really do appreicate this.....

according to his marker George was born 22 May 1860, in , either Winston or Walker county Al. d. 31 Mar. 1939.
he is buried at Old Bethel in Winston Co. Al., it follows a road that depending on which way you come in, if the Winston county side, it comes out in Walker Co.

i have found a little more since i posted this....earlier today i found Lincoln's grandfather, James R. Martin's land record for Walker county.....in Sept . of 1860 for 280.01 acres.
James signed his name as JAMES R. L. MARTIN.....so i guess it's possbile that the L stood for Lincoln . James was born about 1830 or there about...not for sure as his marker has no dates but someone on Ancestry.com said that James was born in Ga., he married SARAH V. DAVIS, daughter of Harmon Davis and Nancy Posey.
