i am looking for info on a George McGough.....born abt. Aug. 1876.
in the 1900 census, Prec. 4, Cagle's , he is listed with wife Margaret, age 17 , son, Floid C. , age 9 months and cousin Kate L., age 14.
Margaret was Margaret Cagle , daughter of James M. Cagle and wife Nancy C. Baughn Cagle...
Margaret was my grandmother's sister.
i can't find them in the 1910 census but in the 1920, same Prec. , Margaret is listed as MARGARET DUNN, age 37 , Wid., living with her brother, Rufus Cagle and a daughter, Dorsa ( Doris) ? McGough, age 9.
in both census records ,Margaret is living within just a few houses of other family members.
if anyone knows when George died and where he is buried, i would appreciate it.
