Tabitha Countiss Ray: 1850 AL, 1860 MS

Help!

I have been unable to determine who is the husband of Tabitha Countiss Ray. In 1850 she:
- calls herself Tabitha Countiss
- is living with her parents in Tuscaloosa Co. AL
- is living with her 3 year old daughter, Mary Jane
- says she was married within the year, but there is no husband in the household.

And then in 1860 she:
- calls herself Tabitha Ray
- is living as the head of household in Calhoun Co. MS, town of Banner
- has two more children, ages 6 and 5

There is a couple, Joseph and Sarah Ray, who are appropriate ages to be her in-laws, who also made the move from Tuscaloosa Co. AL to Banner in Calhoun Co. MS between 1850 and 1860. They have a son, Levi, living with them both years. He is listed as insane and then idiotic. Any further information about this family would also be great, as they seem likely to be connected.

Thanks!
Bruce
