I descend from one of those Webbs in early Tuscaloosa Co. AL. Mine, under Alabama Marriagesto 1825, was "Eady Webb" who married "Joseph Shoemaker" 16 May 1824. They came to Webster Co. MO before 1860 and are buried in the New Grove Cemetery (headstone: "Joseph Shumate - Edy his wife") in Wright Co. MO. He died bef. 1960, Edy after.

If anyone can tell me the name of any Webb or Shumate/Shoemate/Shoemaker/etc. connected with Edy or Joseph, I'd be very appreciative.
Elinore
