Hi Jim thanks for the reply my great-grandmother, Fannie Calhoun, and my great aunt and uncle - John and Lizzie Van Cleave were there in 1870. I believe my brother has uncovered the location, unfortunately, it's now part of the Warrior River dam project. It was near a town called Carthage in Tuscaloosa County - right on the line with Bibb and Hale Counties. Carthage was on the Warrior River.
