My records show Dempsey GRIFFIN married Sarah MITCHELL and they did indeed have a daughter, Nancy E. Griffin, but she did not marry a Mitchell. Sarah (Mitchell) Griffin, wife of Dempsey Griffin, was a daughter of Asa & Sarah (Dorroh) Mitchell. Hope this will help.
