I am a descendant of Elizabeth Duke, daughter of Reason Duke. She married my great-grandfather in Tampa Bay, Fl in 1841, and family tradition has it that she was born in Tuscaloosa. Reason Duke appears in the census of 1830 in Tuscaloosa Co and then in 1840 in Florida. I do not have the name of Reason's wife or any record of their marriage. They had at least one son, John H. who appears on the census rolls in Florida. I would appreciate any information. Thank you.
