I am looking for info on Hugh Gamble and Caroline Gamble of Tuscaloosa County Ala. I think Caroline may have been Hugh’s daughter. In the 1830, 1840 censuses Hugh was the only Gamble listed in Tuscaloosa County, He had one son and one Daughter. The Caroline Gambel I am looking for married William Davis in Tuscaloosa County on Sep. 23 1847. In the 1850 census Hugh wasn’t shown in the Census for Tuscaloosa but a Jeremiah Gamble was by 1860 there was a large family of Gamble’s living at Carthage Tuscaloosa County, This is the same area that William and Caroline lived is there a connection?
