Curling and Boyle Families

Searching for information on George Curling who died in Tuscaloosa in 1860 . He was a ship's carpenter. His daughter Caroline or Catherine H. Curling married my gggrandfather John P. Boyle. The Curling family moved from S. C. to Alabama during or after the Civil War. I have hit a brick wall researching both families. I have info on the Boyle family from AL to TX but would like to trace from AL back as far as possible. I have very little on the Curling Family and would love help from anyone, census records, birth, death, etc? Any cousins out there???
