Carla thanks for the info. I am really trying to find the parents of a man born in 1864 by the name of John Fiquet. His mother (name unknown)died sometime in 1877 in Tallapoosa Co. at the Poor House there. I was hoping there was some sort of link between the Fiquets in Tuscaloosa and John Fiquet. As of yet I have yet to find any information on this man before 1877 except for his birth which occured in Fayette GA(there is no birth record in GA of him either) It is quite a puzzle if you find anything else out it would be helpful. Thanks for the info you did find it helped run down that lead.
