James HALEY was born November 27, 1785, in Mecklenburg Co., VA and died March 01, 1873 in Northport, Tuscaloosa Co., AL. He married m. Francis Gaines Johnston, whom was born December 29, 1788 in Virginia and died July 16, 1862. Wife's name and info submitted from Howard Lee Watson, 10560 Mary Bell Avenue, Sunland, CA 91040. The only child I have listed to this marriage was a John D. Haley born November 25, 1834 possibly Northport, and died April 10, 1872. He married Mary Catherine Palmer born September 22, 1834, possibly also in Northport, AL and died October 24, 1901. They were married December 26, 1856. Place unknown. Mary's Parents were: Joshua D. Palmer and Jane (Faucett) Palmer. I do not have any information on Archibald D. CARRAWAY (b. ca 1803, d. ??,)that m. Ritter HALEY. Hope some of this will help.
