Roberts Family fr SC in 1820's?

I am seeking the parents of MARGARET JANE ROBERTS, born 1812 in SC, married DAVID W. SMITH in Tuscaloosa County AL in Jan 1841. They moved to Itawamba County MS before 1850 census and they died there ca 1900-1902. Is Jane Roberts Smith the daughter of NATHAN ROBERTS or JESSE ROBERTS? Both of these men were listed with families in Tuscaloosa County AL 1830 census. Any information will be appreciated.
