Fiquet during the Civil War

I am looking for information on a Charles Fiquet that joined Lumden's battery during the Civil War. The battery was formed in the Tuscaloosa area. I would like to know if he had any other family in the area or other parts of Alabama. Was he married? I am trying to find the ancestors of a man born in 1864 in Ceorgia but his mother died in Tallapoosa Co. in 1877. I am tring to figure out why she was in Alabama when she was and if there was a family tie in this area such as the childs father's family.
