Is any one related to a Peter Harris of Tallapoosa? In 1859, I find him signing a marriage bond for a Sarah Loderska Jenkins. I don't know if he ties into my Coosa County lineage but my Ggrandfather's brother named a daughter Eva Loderski Harris in Texas as did his uncle in Texas in the 1870s. Initially I thought it possibly was in honor of a midwife, but then I found the name in Tallapoosa Co. The name was spelled differently but phonetically the same.
Loderski, Lodersky, Laderski, Louderski. Probably just census taker's choice. Only Loderskis I find are in a specific area of Poland. It would be "convenient" to find that Peter is a Harris Group 6 line tying into the Coosa Co.line.
