Hi, I just came across your message about Zana, Alabama. I learned of the town several years ago from an elderly woman in wadley, AL (about 10 miles from Zana). She said she'd always been told it was a large cotton plantation in pre civil war times. I can tell you more she told me if your still interested. What she told was interesting to me. thanks
