WILLIAMS family from Blount County, TN. John Lafayette Williams b. abt. 1768 NC married, per census records, a woman born in TN.

Children of John Lafayette include:

1) Elizabeth R. Williams b. about 1815 TN - NOTE: NOT THE SAME ELIZABETH WILLIAMS WHO WAS EITHER KILLED OR ABDUCTED IN THE KILLOUGH MASSACRE.
2) Elbert Williams b. about 1822 TN
3) Owen C. Williams
4) Barakias Williams .. killed in 1838 in Killough Massacre, Larissa, TX
5) John Lowery Williams b. abt 1821 TN d. 8-31-1887

Elizabeth bore a son, father unknown, suspect illegitimate child, Ferdinand L. Williams.

If you google Ferd L. Killough Massacre you will find some interesting information about the Williams families.
