A Y-DNA test has proved that James Minton Dean & John M. Dean were NOT brothers. Jarrett Dean of Talladega Co., AL at an early date was also claimed to be a brother of James Minton Dean and John M. Dean. Since it is has now been proved that neither of those two were brothers then the question becomes which of the two, James Minton Dean or John M. Dean, was Jarrett Dean a brother of or was he actually not a brother of either. One thing is for sure, all of the data on all of the web sites are now incorrect pertaining to Jarrett Dean of Talladega Co., AL
