My father was Joseph Givens Savery who was born in Talladega in 1918. His father was Joseph Savery whose first wife was Bessie. His first wife died, and he married Lora Bell who was my grandmother. Joseph was much older than my grandmother.( about 30 years older)
He died when my father was a very young boy. Lora and Joseph also had a daughter by the name of Grace Savery.
(my Aunt Grace) Joseph and his first wife did not have children.
