Thanks, I would appreciate if you would ask of the older residents if they know anything about the Jones property/graves. I was in Sumter Co., in the last part of August (just before Katrina) but while at the courthouse ran out of time to look up all that I wanted to.

As I said Ben Jones et al are now buried in the Giles Cemetery. His daughter Maria married Simmon Giles and I figure some descendent must have had the bodies moved because this old cemetery listing I have from a book called 'Sumter County Pioneers' (doesn't say when published) gives directions to the Jones cemetery with Ben and family in Sumter County. Again thanks for anything you are able to find out.
