I am researching:
John Dearman and Lethia Dearman
John Dearman was married to Letha Dearman; I have Leatha Dearman death certificate. It names George Straughter as her father and her mother as Julia McMillan, but on another death certificate is list her father as Sam Straughter. I have not been able to find her husband - listed as Jonathan (John) Dearman, I just now found that on the 1910 Lauderdale Co., Miss Census that her father's birthplace was Washington, ?, and that she was a widow.
Can anyone tell me which John Dearman was her husband, and if Sam or George was her husbands name?
Leatha Dearman was born May 1,1861 and died Oct 1,1922. It shows her as having 5 children, one of which was Florence, Oscar, Walter, and John as her children. Can anyone help me.
