Where was Thompson's Mill location

Does anyone know where Thompson's Mill in Shelby County, was located? According to the article in the Montevallo News back in 1895, it says that my Holsomback family lived there for awhile. John Holsomback (my great-great-grandfather was born there March 28, 1818. I would like to know where this place was located if anyone has knowledge about it. Thanks in advance.
