Looking for information on David Abernathy, b. abt. 1789/90 NC,
(probably Lincoln Co.) Lived in Giles Co., TN in 1820, moved to Shelby Co., AL before 1830, then to Macon Co., AL by 1850.
In 1830,1840 Shelby census, was living near other families from TN: Armstrong, Mitchell, Moore, West, etc. Had strong Methodist
ties, and at least one son, Joseph Thomas, became a minister.
David had a son named Coleman, and possibly one named Meredith. He also had several daughters, wife named Jane, and
possibly relatives in Jefferson Co. He was my 3 GGFA.
Any information would be appreciated.

Otis Fuller
