George A. Rasco is buried in the Columbiana Cemetery. His tombstone dates are September 27, 1883 - February 24, 1944. This George A. Rasco was living in Chilton County when the 1920 census was taken (ED #42, Sheet 2) with wife Mary and son George Jr. George A. Rasco, Jr. was born November 11, 1918 in Alabama and died April 7, 1983 in Anchorage, Alaska.
George A. Rasco, Sr. does not appear in the 1910 or 1900 censuses. Although there are other Rasco families living in both Shalby and Chilton Counties at the same time that this George was there, and there are other Rasco's buried in the Columbiana Cemetery, these other do not appear to be connected to George A. Rasco.
George A. Rasco is not mentioned in the books "The Family of Edward Hampton Rasco and Connexions" by Sarah Ada Rasco Crumpton or in "The Rasco Family Tree - Roots and Branches" by William Earl Rasco. Nor can I find him in any of my extentive Rasco genealogical collection.
Can anyone tell me who this George A. Rasco was and to which branch of the family he belongs to?
