HELP!!! Im bit confused. Was Shelby County, once a part of Baker Co., which is now the present Chilton Co.? Im researching my ELLIS line, (John E & wife Sallie Hall Ellis; children: Nathan John Edward (Eddie);Rosa Lee, Franklin Audie & Jeff.)Unable to find marriage records, and some other records so was just wondering if Shelby Co was then(1860-1900) part of Baker County then just maybe, some records MIGHT be in Shelby County. THANKX!
