Greer Family

Looking for information on Thomas Greer who settled in Russell County in 1830 and lived there until about 1850 when he moved to a place above Opelika. He had two sons that I know of by different wives. By the first wife one son was William Greer who moved to Texas, by the second wife he had a son General M. Greer who stayed in Alabama.
Am seeking the wives names and place of birth of Thomas. Any help appreciated!
