Beverly,
Thanks, someone e-mailed me the 1860 Randolph County census information and I've found the 1900 information for Cleburne County, Lost Creek (Ranburne) District, on the Internet at www.ancestry.com. If you could look up the following for me in 1870 and 1880, it would help a lot. (Don't go to any trouble if you don't have an index, though. The people I'm looking for may have been living in Cleburne rather than Randolph in 1870 and 1880.) The family is that of Jinsea Ellis Baggett, born 1829 Ga. d. 1897 Ranburne, widow of Thomas C. Baggett, 1828-63, formerly of Cobb County, Ga., who moved to Randolph Co. Their son James Allen, b. 1857, is buried in Winston Co., Ala. Their son Lewis L., b. 1859, is on the 1860 census. Their son John Burton, b. 1850, was in Cleburne County in 1900.
