Wow, you are certainly on the ball. Are you at the library or do you have this info on your computer? I have traced my daddy's mother, Easter Epsy McNeil born March, 1894 in Pike County (she died in 1924 in Geneva County). I cannot tell who her mother is, I have written for a birth certificate and unless it is in Pike county, I can't get it. It is not in Montgomery as they only go back to 1900. Easter Epsy McNeil's father was John T. McNeil, born 1836 in Newberry County, South Carolina. He married Frances Brooks who died in 1891, having 4 children. Oviously, she is not Easter Epsy's mother and I have not been able to find this information. Unfortunately, her death certificate does not list her parents. My father was raised as an orphan along with 3 brothers and as he was 7 when his mother died and 9 when his daddy died, he did not have any of this information. My daddy died in 1971. Any help that you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Linda
