Thanks, Cathy, for the information about where James Loflin was buried.

I had thought from the 1900 census that he was born in 1885, but at that time had not looked at later census records that confirmed the 1887 date.

I appreciate, too, the phone number for the Pike County library. I am trying to determine where James died--whether in Huntsville, where he had been living, or in Pike County. An obituary from the local paper would be helpful, and maybe that's available at the library.
