For those of you who are interested, there is something to report on the Jones DNA Project. The results of the testing shows that William Jones who appears in the 1850 Pike County Census (wife-Delona) was directly connected to Raleigh Jones who was a son of Joseph Jones Sr. Until now the only connection was by name only and now there is a definitive blood connection.....And that is different than just a name.

It would be interesting to have male Jones descendants of Freeman, Pressley, Joseph Jr and Seaborn Jones to join into this testing program. There is no doubt that DNA Testing can and will remove any and all doubts that someone has on family associations. I can be contacted at docjones35@bellsouth.net for more information....
