Doc, Thank you for your quick reply . This was why I thought MY Wiley was a grandson... He was bor abt 1813, the one you list was married in 1821. My Wiley could have been a grandson thru any of the sons of Joseph . I haven't been able to trace any of Wylie and Martha's sons. I did find divorce records for William W.(1842/1891) and Victoria Crosky Jones. I don't remember any mention of children . But his headstone doesn't reflect that . According to " Early Pike Countians " by Kathlyn Folmar...1995 There was a W.W. Jones in Oakwood Cemetary, Troy , AL.= W.W.Jones Sept. 19, 1842 June 23, 1891 Husband of V. O . Jones ( Victory or Victoria Coskry ) A Mason, Father . I show a George W. Jones b. abt.1845 , but no further info. I wish I could find one of the Jones male descendants . I have contact with one Jones nearby...not related to me except thru my Gregory line....but he declined DNA testing for another of our lines. I'll keep looking. Thanks again, Annette Notify Administrator about this message?
