Looking for any information about a JJ Funderburk. Lived in Pickens County, Alabama before the Civil War and was in the Confederate Army. JJ is John Jackson Funderburk, Jack Jackson Funderburk, and I have seen it as Jackson J. Funderburk. Tombstone shows JJ Funderburk in Crystal Falls, TX. Best info that I have says he was born in North Carolina and moved to Alabama before Civil War. Later moved to Marshall County MS. Shows up in 1870 census and 1880 census in MS. JJ was married to Adeline Sanders.

My gggrandfather (George Washington Funderburk-born 1872) is in 1880 census for Marshall County, Mississippi.
Family moved to Breckenridge, TX in 1884.

Trying to find any military records for JJ and any info on JJ's parents.

Thanks for any info.

Tony G. Funderburk
