Court House burning....
Posted by: Lauren Bahr (ID *****9758) Date: February 27, 2013 at 02:44:59

Can anyone tell me which, if any, records were saved from the court house burning? Were any wills, probate records, land records, etc. saved from destruction?

My g-g-g grandfather George W. Williams died in 1861, and his father George Williams died in 1858; I would love to find their wills, if such still exist.

Thanks
Lauren
