I descend from James M. Gunter through daughter Fannie May, sometimes listed as Mary or Molly, who married Jacob Coons. They lived in vicinity of Palmetto,AL. She died ca 1836 and had children James Marion Coons, Mary Frances Coons, and possibly another. Would love to fine someone searching Gunters, Coons who may know of existing proof. Thanks.
