I have a book "Pickens County, Alabama 1841-1861.
Talbot ADAMS is mentioned in the book,

25 July 1855
Talbot Adams, guardian of W.H. Spencer, filed account current and vouchers for annual settlement.

Talbot Adams, guardian of Lucinda Spencer filed account current and vouchers for annual settlement.

08 November 1860
Estate of Durritt White. The administrator will sell land from the estate on the premises of the late Elizabeth White, formerly Elizabeth Scott, widow. This is a reversion of dower land. The property adjoins Dr. Talbot Adams, Dancey and Little, Dr. Drish, Andrew Lyon, Mr. Dean and George W. Stone, Esqrs. The land, maps and plats of land can be seen by calling on Thomas P. Daniel near Fairfield. E.D. Willett, Adminstrator

I also have been searching for the parents of Felix P. ADAMS born 1836 in Pickens County, he married Nancy Bell, daughter of George W. Bell...Felix was my GG grandfather. I'm not sure if there is a connection between your Talbot and my Felix Adams or not. If you have any information I will gladly share if I have anything you need.
