My family had several farms just NE of Ethelsville. Their land was bought between 1827 and 1839. About 1840 they all moved to MS.

Does anyone know of any events in this area that would cause them all to move 90 miles away?

I have the legal description on my 2d Great Grandfather's land. How can I find when it was sold?
