I just received my 1999 Pickens County,AL Heritage book and its GREAT. Thank you Gregg and all the others who spent hundreds of hours of free work to preserve our ancestors memories. Two articles that I wrote on Kindred Stickland and Henry McCrary Storey are in the book. All of my Fathers and Mothers ancestors are from Pickens County (Stricklands,Wrights, Storeys, Orrs, Langdons,Stokes)and I will treasure the Heritage as well as the 1998 Family history book.
PS: Just wish I could find out who my Pickens County, AL. Gr Grandfather, Elias Garner(BUD) Wright's parents were!!! HELP.
